BREAKING: Obasanjo In Closed-door Meeting With Tinubu’s Ally (DETAILS)
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun are currently holding a private meeting behind closed doors in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
The meeting commenced around 11:58 a.m. at Mr. Obasanjo’s private residence located at his Presidential Library.

This meeting is considered to be the first of its kind between Governor Abiodun and the elder statesman, Mr. Obasanjo.
Governor Abiodun is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party. It is noteworthy that Mr. Obasanjo, who is also from Ogun State, opposed the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, during the February 25 election.
In the said election, Mr. Tinubu emerged as the winner, defeating Mr. Obasanjo’s preferred candidate, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and other contenders.
