Ace Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has expressed deep surprise and gratitude following glowing remarks made about him by veteran actress Shaffy Bello, describing the commendation as both humbling and inspiring.

According to Ireporter Online, Bello made the remarks during a recent interview with media personality VJ Adams, where she was asked to name her favourite action-comedy actors from both Hollywood and Nollywood. In her response, the actress named the late Sam Loco Efe as her favourite Nollywood comedy actor, while identifying Samuel L. Jackson as her top choice from Hollywood.

Speaking passionately about the late Sam Loco, Bello stated that she would revive the legendary actor if it were possible, underscoring the lasting impact of his talent on the Nigerian film industry.

She also took time to commend Charles Inojie, describing his craft as exceptional and instinctive. Bello noted that his comic timing is a rare gift that cannot be acquired through training or imitation, stressing that such talent is purely natural.

Reacting to the remarks on his Instagram page, Inojie said he was overwhelmed by the praise, noting that receiving such recognition from a globally respected and accomplished colleague was beyond words. He described Bello’s comments as the most meaningful New Year gift he had received so far.

The actor added that the validation has strengthened his resolve to remain committed to excellence in his craft, assuring that he does not take the recognition lightly and is determined never to disappoint.
