In a recent Instagram post, Etiko stated that while she has forgiven the individual involved, she cannot forget the betrayal, which has caused personal distress for both herself and her family.

Etiko further revealed that her mother has been emotionally affected by the controversy, receiving numerous calls regarding the situation. In her post, she wrote that the lies fabricated against her have caused immense pain, noting that the actions were particularly disheartening given their relationship and shared faith.
