Dollar Vs Naira: Today’s Exchange Rate Update – Feb 25, 2026
According to Ireporter Online, the Dollar to Naira exchange rate in Nigeria’s parallel market, also known as the black market or Aboki FX, has recorded slight fluctuations. On Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, Bureau De Change operators in Lagos were reportedly selling a dollar for ₦1,370 and buying at ₦1,350.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not officially recognize transactions in the parallel market and has directed individuals seeking foreign exchange to conduct such transactions through licensed commercial banks.
Meanwhile, the CBN official rates for the dollar ranged from a low of ₦1,351 to a high of ₦1,362 on the same day. Observers noted that actual buying or selling prices may differ slightly depending on market conditions and the specific Bureau De Change.
