In a statement released on Friday via its official platform, the commission disclosed that the suspects were apprehended at various locations within Sapele. Alongside the arrests, authorities recovered a cache of items, including 12 exotic cars, laptops, and mobile phones believed to be linked to their illicit activities.
The EFCC stated that the suspects will face charges in court once investigations are concluded. This development underscores the agency’s continued efforts to combat cybercrime and ensure the prosecution of individuals involved in fraudulent activities across the country.
