Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has used the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir to urge Muslims in the state and across the world to reflect deeply on the values of sacrifice, obedience, and faith.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, on Friday, Fubara emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and compassion, especially in the face of Nigeria’s current economic and security challenges.

He encouraged Muslims to show kindness to the less privileged, promote reconciliation, and forgive past grievances during the festive season. Highlighting the ongoing political instability in Rivers State, Fubara acknowledged that while many goals remain unachieved, there have still been significant strides in development.
