Veteran Nigerian music executive Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy, has opened up about a recurring challenge he faces with some of the younger talents signed to his label, particularly Ayra Starr.

According to Ireporter Online, the Mavin Records boss made the revelation during a recent episode of the ‘Who’s In The House’ podcast, where he expressed concern over what he described as a lack of enthusiasm among Gen Z artists when it comes to promoting their music on social media platforms.

He explained that many of the artists prefer to maintain a visually curated and aesthetically pleasing online presence rather than consistently sharing or promoting their musical works, a trend he believes hinders their growth and visibility in the industry.

The renowned producer noted that this difference in approach has occasionally led to disagreements between him and his signees, with Ayra Starr specifically mentioned as one of the artists he frequently engages in such debates.
