Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Jurrien Timber and Noni Madueke are both fit and available to start Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest.

According to Ireporter Online, Arteta gave the update while addressing journalists on Friday evening ahead of the highly anticipated showdown, offering a major boost to Arsenal’s squad depth before one of the biggest fixtures in the club’s recent history.

Responding to questions about the duo’s fitness, Arteta stated that both players are fully available for selection, noting that they could even start the final if required. “Timber is fit. Fit enough to start? Yeah. Madueke? Yeah, he is fit. The only one is Ben [White],” he said.

Timber, who has been sidelined since March after sustaining an injury in Arsenal’s victory over Everton, returns at a crucial moment, strengthening Arteta’s defensive options against a PSG side known for its attacking pace and fluidity.

Madueke, who had sparked concern after picking up a knock during Arsenal’s final Premier League match at Selhurst Park, also returns to full fitness. The winger, who scored in that game as Arsenal sealed the league title on the final day, is now expected to be part of the squad for the European final.

However, Ben White will miss the encounter after failing to recover from a knee injury sustained against West Ham earlier in the month. His absence forces Arteta to adjust his defensive setup, though Timber’s return is expected to ease the setback.

Arsenal head into the final with renewed optimism as they aim to cap their season with European glory against the French champions.
