Fleeing Driver Arrested Over Fatal Crash That k!lled Two Policemen In Osun State
According to Ireporter Online, a man identified as Adegoke Tee has been arrested in connection with a tragic incident that claimed the lives of two policemen in Osun State.
The incident reportedly occurred at Oogi community in Ayedaade Local Government Area, where Lance Corporal Oluwatobiloba Odedina and his colleague, Kehinde Adeleke, were crushed to death while returning home after an official assignment.
It was gathered that the driver of a Lexus vehicle, identified as a holidaymaker, fled the scene immediately after the crash, abandoning the vehicle in a bid to escape being attacked by an angry crowd.
Following the incident, police authorities launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspect, who was later apprehended on Friday.
Confirming the development, the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, stated that the suspect has been taken into custody and the case has been transferred to the Traffic Unit in Osogbo for further investigation.
