Asserting the necessity of embracing scientific methodologies in census exercises, Iyantan underscored the role of technology in driving national development. He urged stakeholders to rally behind the inclusion of biometric data gathering in the 2024 census, emphasizing its potential to revolutionize data collection processes and contribute to the country’s progress.
While commending the federal government’s commitment to completing the census initiated by former President Buhari, Iyantan urged President Tinubu to elevate the census project by integrating state-of-the-art biometric technology.
In explaining his gubernatorial aspirations, Iyantan expressed a deep-seated dedication to addressing the challenges faced by the people of Ondo State. He outlined his vision for inclusive development, emphasizing priorities such as improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and agriculture.
With a focus on creating an enabling environment for investments, job creation, and prosperity, Iyantan pledged to prioritize education to empower the youth and enhance agricultural practices to ensure food security and economic growth in Ondo State.
