Federal Court Invalidates All PDP Congresses In Ebonyi State
A Federal High Court in Abakaliki has annulled all congresses held by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State, including…CONTINUE READING…
those at the ward, local government, and state levels.
In its ruling on case FHC/AI/CS/183/2024, titled Hon. Nnenna Lynda Udeh & 12 Others v. PDP & Another, the court declared the congresses unconstitutional. The court also ordered that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should not recognize any officers allegedly elected during these congresses for any official purpose.
This decision comes as a significant legal setback for the PDP in Ebonyi State.
