In a meeting with the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Mohammed, at her office in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Senator Tinubu stressed the importance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s initiatives in building a more respected Nigeria in the long run.

She highlighted the need for accountability among Nigerians concerning the nation’s resources, urging citizens to take responsibility for their actions.

Senator Tinubu emphasized the role of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), particularly in areas such as agriculture, empowerment, education, health, and social welfare, in complementing the government’s efforts.

She expressed her commitment to inspiring youth to prioritize the nation’s interests over personal or regional affiliations, citing initiatives like the #ONE NIGERIA/Unity Fabric project aimed at fostering national unity among youths.

Regarding humanitarian efforts, Senator Tinubu mentioned the RHI’s monthly Food Outreach Program for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Persons with Disabilities, reaffirming her dedication to supporting vulnerable groups despite challenges.

In response, the UN Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, expressed the organization’s anticipation of increased Nigerian investment in youth, women, and girls, emphasizing the importance of empowering these demographics for sustainable development.
