A source close to the situation stated that while Jackrich has been released, he is currently consulting with his associates and prefers not to speak to the media. However, there appears to be conflicting information, as the army has denied any involvement in his release.

Chief Seliye Jackrich, an Elder in the Compound Council of Chiefs of Ike Group of Houses, mentioned that the family has been informed about Sobomabo’s release but has not yet seen him.
