Former NYSC DG Tsiga Kidnapped! Abductors Insist On ₦250 Million For Release

The retired general was abducted along with nine others from his residence in Tsiga community, Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, on Wednesday night.

The source disclosed, “They called on Friday night, demanding ₦250 million for his release. We are currently making efforts to gather the required amount.”

Confirming the abduction during a press briefing, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abubakar Aliyu, assured that the police are actively working to secure the safe release of the victims.

“We are fully on top of the situation and are collaborating with other security agencies and key stakeholders to ensure all abductees are rescued unharmed,” he stated.
