Good News For Workers As Akpabio Speaks On New Salary
President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has given Nigerian workers an assurance that the Federal Government will reevaluate the salaries of its employees to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal.
Akpabio conveyed this assurance during a courtesy visit from the Governor of Ekiti State, Abiodun Oyebanji, and members of the National Assembly from the State.

According to Akpabio, removing fuel subsidy was crucial for the survival of Nigeria in the coming years. He stated that salaries and wages of workers would be reassessed to ensure that they receive a living wage.
He expressed pride in the representatives from Ekiti State in the 10th National Assembly, praising them for their dedication and commitment to their legislative duties. He emphasized the positive contributions that Ekiti, known as the “land of knowledge,” can make to the country through their engagement in the Senate.
In response, Governor Oyebanji commended Akpabio for his achievements during his tenure in office. He assured the President of the Senate of the full support of the people and government of Ekiti State, promising to collaborate with the legislature to advance the progress of the country.
