Government Partners Tuface To Empower Youth And Small Businesses Across Nigeria

announced on Friday in Abuja, where Tuface joined Mr. Tola Adekunle-Johnson, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and MSMEs, to sign the agreement.Adekunle-Johnson highlighted that Tuface’s new role as a brand ambassador for job creation and MSMEs would strengthen initiatives under the National MSMEs Awards. He pointed out that the initiative would focus on programs like the Expanded National MSMEs Clinics, Shared Hubs for MSMEs, and various job creation efforts.

“We recognized the importance of engaging the entertainment and creative industry to sustain job creation momentum and promote MSMEs activities, such as the awards and shared hubs,” said Adekunle-Johnson. “Tuface is a true icon and a consistent, creative force whose influence will help rally private sector support for public initiatives aimed at creating jobs and assisting small businesses.”

Tuface expressed gratitude for the partnership, commending the government’s focus on supporting youth and small businesses. He pledged to raise awareness of MSMEs, particularly among young Nigerians, and emphasized the positive impact of this collaboration.

“I’m excited about this partnership. It’s a great step in the right direction, especially for the youth,” Tuface said. “I believe this will bring immense value to individuals, communities, and the country.”

Mrs. Sarah Ajayi, Deputy Director at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), also stressed the importance of entertainment in engaging young people. She praised the choice of Tuface as a brand ambassador, noting that his influence would be key in reaching the younger demographic. “Entertainment is what attracts the youth, and Tuface is the right figure for this role,” Ajayi added.
