Makinde further explained that their relationship did not originate on social media and therefore cannot be defined or ended by online narratives. He noted that changes in relationships within the film industry are often misinterpreted as conflict, whereas they may simply reflect natural professional growth.

He also revealed that Funke Akindele’s absence at his wedding last December was due to her involvement in a movie project at the time, adding that her influence played a significant role in his journey in the entertainment industry.
