The development is aimed at enhancing access to quality renal care and strengthening comprehensive, patient-centred treatment for individuals living with kidney-related conditions in Nigeria.

Speaking on the development, the Managing Director of R-Jolad Hospital, Dr. Funsho Oladipo, stated that the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to evolving healthcare delivery in line with patients’ needs. He emphasized that the hospital is also prioritising affordability to ensure that more patients can access life-saving treatment without excessive financial burden.

To ensure quality service delivery, R-Jolad Hospital has entered into a strategic partnership with Osiris Health, operators of Life Support Medical Centre, one of Nigeria’s pioneer dialysis providers established in 1986. The collaboration brings decades of clinical expertise in renal care and is expected to enhance treatment standards through advanced infrastructure and established medical protocols.

The Chief Executive Officer of Osiris Health, Ayoola Oladipupo, noted that the partnership would broaden access to specialised kidney care across a wider patient base while leveraging a trusted healthcare system.

In addition, the hospital announced that dialysis sessions at the facility will be offered at a subsidised rate of N35,000 per session, a measure aimed at easing the financial strain on patients requiring long-term treatment.
