I Will Be Abia Governor’ – Doris Ogala Dares Alex Otti To Challenge Her

Nollywood actress and African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has expressed strong confidence in her ambition to become the next governor of the state, challenging Governor Alex Otti to dispute her claims.

Ogala made the declaration on Monday while appearing on the Clarity Zone podcast hosted by media personality Nedu Wazobia.

According to Ireporter Online, the actress said her decision to contest the governorship election was motivated by what she described as a divine calling to serve and improve the lives of the people of Abia.

Ogala maintained that she possesses the capacity to defeat other potential contenders, expressing certainty that she would eventually emerge as the next governor of the state.

She said her confidence was based on her belief that she was better positioned than those seeking the same office and insisted that her ambition was driven by a desire to address the challenges facing Abians.

The actress also spoke about her personal experience while staying in Abia, claiming that she spent about three months in her family home without electricity.

According to her, the experience gave her a firsthand understanding of some of the difficulties residents face and strengthened her determination to seek political office.

Ogala criticised the administration of Governor Otti, alleging that the government had not done enough to address some of the state’s challenges.

She further challenged Otti to dispute her claims about the development of Ariaria International Market, insisting that the governor should not take credit for projects he did not personally initiate.

The AAC candidate reiterated that she remained determined to pursue her governorship ambition, insisting that neither political opposition nor other challenges would prevent her from seeking to lead Abia State.
