I’m Not Ready For A Relationship, I Can’t Stick With One Woman – Young Jonn

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian singer and producer, Young Jonn, has disclosed that he is currently not in a phase of life where he is ready to settle into a committed relationship with one partner.

The 31-year-old music star made this known during a recent interview on Afro Today, where he explained that although he believes in love and appreciates its value, he is not in a position to devote the level of time and emotional attention that a serious relationship demands.

He stated that, for now, he prefers to maintain light, friendly, and non-committal interactions with people, rather than enter into relationships that require full commitment. According to him, this approach helps him avoid creating expectations he may not be able to meet at this stage of his life.

Young Jonn further noted that it would be unfair to engage in a serious relationship when he cannot fully offer what a partner would reasonably expect. He emphasized that his decision is aimed at preventing emotional complications or misunderstandings.

In his words, he said, “Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody.”

He added, “I don’t want a serious relationship right now because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?”

He also remarked that his challenge with relationships is maintaining exclusivity, expressing that he finds it difficult to focus on just one romantic interest.
