Iru-Victoria Island Council Chairman Distributes-Supplies To Public Primary-Schools (Details)

The Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island Local Council Development Area, Princess Rasheedat Adu, has generously distributed writing materials, cash, and food packs to pupils, teachers, and non-teaching staff of public primary schools within the council.

The beneficiary schools include Victoria Island Nursery and Primary School, Federal Housing Primary School, Archbishop Taylor Nursery and Primary School, Awoyaya Nursery and Primary School, Epiphany Children School, Bonny Camp Nursery and Primary School, Army Children School, Kuramo Nursery and Primary School, Ansarudeen Nursery and Primary School, and four computer schools.

Princess Adu emphasized that providing various items such as food, school bags, pairs of socks, school uniforms, pairs of sandals, stationery, and notebooks to public schools is a longstanding tradition aimed at supporting the children in the council. She assured that the council administration would continue to offer welfare packages to residents, regardless of their religious or political affiliations. She urged parents to prioritize their children’s educational development to better prepare them for the future.

Highlighting the importance of education in addressing societal issues, Princess Adu expressed her gratitude to the council’s residents for their ongoing support of the administration.

The teachers and non-teaching staff praised the chairman’s initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to improving education in the council.
