JUST IN: Elumelu Speaks After Visiting Tinubu, Sends Message To Nigerians
Tony Elumelu, a prominent business figure, has expressed his support for certain economic measures undertaken by President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that these decisions are fostering positivity within the private sector.
Following a meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday, the founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation highlighted his belief that over time, Nigerians will reap the benefits of these choices.
Elumelu remarked, “The private sector is finding encouragement in the decisive steps President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken. We remain hopeful that in due course, Nigerians will reap the rewards, as these measures are fundamentally aimed at enhancing the lives of the Nigerian populace.
This encompasses our youth, women, and the pursuit of employment opportunities for our young people. I am convinced that the President has these priorities in mind, and as someone from the private sector, I have faith that the actions and decisions he is making will ultimately yield positive outcomes for our citizens.”
He urged Nigerians to exercise patience with the current administration, noting that significant achievements take time to materialize and that transformation doesn’t happen overnight.
