JUST IN: Popular APC Chieftain Resigns From His Position

Comrade Sabo Muhammad, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) media and publicity committee in Bauchi, has resigned his position.

Mohammed’s resignation comes just two days after Gamawa executives voted no confidence in national ex-officio Sirajo Dada and the APC’s hierarchy in Kukadi ward, Misau local government.

The party also suspended its Bauchi State chairman, Babayo Aliyu Misau, for alleged anti-party activities during the recent general elections.

The chairman of the Bauchi APC media and publicity committee, in a signed letter addressed to the party’s state secretary and made available to newsmen, stated that his resignation as chairman of the media and publicity standing committee is for personal reasons rather than political ones.

He stated that he hoped that his resignation would hasten the rebuilding, reorganization, and re-strengthening of the crusade that the party so desperately needs in order to achieve greatness, as well as pave the way for new ideas, responsive, and responsible leadership for the party in the state.

Mohammed added that he was still an APC member in the state and the spokesperson for the party’s governorship candidate, Air Marshal Sadiq Baba Abubakar, in the 2023 general elections.
