Dr. Aisha, the youngest daughter of the former presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Sen. Kwankwaso, will marry Engr. Fahad in a union that unites two influential families from Kano and Katsina states.

In a statement from Governor Yusuf’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, it was noted that the event would be a grand occasion with high-profile figures from various sectors in attendance.

While rumors of a rift between Kwankwaso and Governor Yusuf have surfaced, the governor has dismissed these claims, emphasizing that there is no conflict with the former governor.

The statement continued: “Both families extend a warm invitation to friends, family, political associates, business leaders, and traditional and religious figures to join us for this special occasion.”

The wedding will take place at the Kofar Kudu Palace of the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Dr. Muhammadu Sanusi II, at 11 am on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Dignitaries from across the country and abroad are expected to attend, with security agencies ensuring smooth traffic flow between the Government House and the Emir’s palace.
