In a candid interview with her colleague, Biola Adebayo, on the Talk to B podcast, Kiitan opened up about her difficult childhood, which has shaped her views on marriage. She admitted that she grew up without the love and care of a father, a void that still affects her today.

“I never had a father who cared about my desires. I didn’t experience the love of a father and mother together, which has hurt me deeply,” she explained. “I never lived with my parents, and I don’t even know some of my father’s children because we are over fourteen.”

Kiitan added that her fear of marriage stems from her strong desire to give her children the stable, loving home she never had. “I don’t want my children to grow up without a father or in a broken home. I love the idea of marriage, but I’m scared. I want my children to experience fatherly care,” she confessed.

The actress also shared how her past relationship affected her perspective on marriage. She expressed that she values understanding and prayer in a partner and emphasized the importance of balance between her career and home life. “I want a partner who is my best friend, someone who understands the demands of my job and supports me,” she said, recalling a former partner who once asked her to return money from a job when she had a set commitment.
