Kudos As NBM Of Africa Collaborates With Federal Road Safety Commission On Road Safety Initiative
The leadership of NBM of Africa, a non-governmental organisation with Pan-African ideologies, has joined forces with the Federal Road Safety Commission to launch an initiative dubbed “DRIVE SAFELY TO STAY ALIVE.”
The initiative’s goal is to raise public awareness through an enlightenment programme about the need for commercial vehicle operators and private vehicle drivers to exercise caution by driving within the speed limit during this yelutide period.
The organisation intends to visit motor parks in various states to educate commercial operators on the importance of not drinking and driving, not overloading vehicles, not using vehicles that are not roadworthy, observing road signs, and having mandatory accessories such as fire extinguishers, etc. in the vehicles.
The initiative was launched on behalf of the organisation by Omooba Kehinde Akanimodo, National President of the organisation, and supported by the Deputy Corp Marshal of the FRSC.
