Kwara State University Promotes Three To Professorship, 25 To Associate Professor
The Governing Council of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has approved the promotion of three academic staff to the rank of professor, while 25 others have been elevated to associate professor status.

The newly appointed full professors are:

Prof. Shehu Abdulganiyu Salau – Agricultural Production Economics (Faculty of Agriculture)

Prof. Moshood Zakariyah – Sociolinguistics (Faculty of Arts)

Prof. Gafar Olorisade – Educational Administration (Faculty of Education)
Dr. Aliyu noted that the 25 newly promoted associate professors span multiple faculties including Agriculture, Arts, Education, Engineering and Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Law, Management and Social Sciences, and Pure and Applied Sciences.
From the Faculty of Agriculture, the promotions include:
