Governor Sanwo-Olu took to his official platform to share the uplifting news, emphasizing the invaluable contributions of these retirees to the state’s progress.

Expressing gratitude for their tireless efforts, Sanwo-Olu highlighted the significance of prioritizing the welfare of those who have played pivotal roles in shaping Lagos’ history.

The upcoming disbursement marks another milestone in the state’s commitment to supporting its retirees, with over N60 billion already disbursed to more than 17,000 retirees during Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to building a stronger and more caring Lagos, urging continued collaboration in shaping a vibrant future for the state.

This initiative follows previous disbursements, including the payment of N2.017 billion to 644 retirees in August 2023, representing their past service benefits before the implementation of the Contributory Pension Scheme.
