Lagos: Father, Son Remanded For Defiling 14-Yr-Old Girl
A 56-year-old man, Taiwo Pata and his 23-year-old son, Josh Joseph, have been remanded for allegedly having canal knowledge of a 14-year-old girl in Lagos.
The accused were arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Ogba Lagos on a two-count charge of defilement and having forceful canal knowledge of the teenage girl.
Magistrate A.O Ajibade did not take the plea of the accused as she ordered that they be remanded in a correctional facility.
Police prosecutor, Kenneth Ajayi, said the accused had canal knowledge of the girl at Ojo Barracks, Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, where they reside.
The Prosecutor told the court that the girl was said to have suffered emotional trauma after both her 56-year-old father, Taiwo Pata and her brother, Josh Joseph, turned her into a sex slave.
The Presiding Magistrate, however, directed that the case file be sent to the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice, after which she ordered that the accused be remanded without an option of bail.
