Contrary to earlier reports, Fadeyi emphasized that the incident did not occur within the institution’s premises. He explained that the altercation took place around 2 am in a club, which is not affiliated with LAUTECH.

According to Fadeyi, the altercation involved individuals who were not students of LAUTECH. He underscored that the incident had no connection to the university’s activities, including the convocation ceremony.

Providing further details, Fadeyi clarified that the altercation erupted during an engagement at a nightclub located far from the university premises. He reiterated that the victim was not a student of LAUTECH, emphasizing that the incident was unrelated to the university.
