Lizzy Anjorin Accepts ₦10m Boxing Challenge To Face Iyabo Ojo, Drops Conditions For Fight Agreement
According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has formally accepted a proposed ₦10 million celebrity boxing challenge involving her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, in a development that further escalates their long-standing public feud.
Naija News reports that the idea of a celebrity boxing match between both actresses was initially floated in 2024 by Paulo, with a ₦10 million prize attached for the eventual winner. However, Anjorin has now publicly confirmed her readiness to participate, while introducing new conditions to the proposed bout.
In a post shared via her Instagram page on Sunday, Anjorin stated that she is prepared to enter the ring but insisted that the arrangement should be altered to include a preliminary fight involving Paulo and her husband before she eventually faces Iyabo Ojo.
She wrote, “As at today, 3rd May 2026, I accept your challenge. You (Paulo) and Chief Lawal will fight 10 rounds non-stop in the ring. Then the next day, it will be me and Iyabo Ojo in the ring.”
The actress also intensified the exchange with a series of pointed remarks directed at both Paulo and Iyabo Ojo, challenging them to publicly provide evidence of their financial standing and personal achievements.
The latest development adds another layer to the ongoing rivalry between Anjorin and Ojo, a dispute that has repeatedly played out across social media platforms, courtrooms, and public statements over the years.
Their feud, which reportedly stems from professional disagreements and personal conflicts, has previously resulted in legal confrontations. In 2025, Iyabo Ojo filed a ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against Anjorin, although the case was later struck out on procedural grounds, with Ojo signalling intentions to pursue further legal action.
