Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed sympathy for Liam Rosenior following his dismissal by Chelsea FC after a heavy loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.

According to Ireporter Online, Rosenior was relieved of his duties on Wednesday in the aftermath of Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat in the Premier League over the weekend. Reacting to the development, Guardiola said he felt sorry for the 41-year-old coach, insisting he has the quality to operate at the highest level.

Speaking after Manchester City’s 1-0 victory over Burnley FC, Guardiola described the situation as unfortunate, noting that such moments often remind him of how fortunate he is to be working in a stable environment. He maintained that Rosenior remains a capable manager despite the setback.
