My Husband Can’t Get Rid Of Me!’ – Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Says It All
According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has revealed that it would be nearly impossible for her husband, Matthew Ekeinde, to leave her or end their marriage. Speaking on the Afropolitan Podcast, Omotola said that divorce has never been a consideration in their 30-year-long union.
She credited the success of their marriage to her husband’s selflessness, absence of ego, and the deep trust they share. The actress noted that throughout their decades together, she has never had disputes involving other women and described her marriage as a uniquely personal matter.
Omotola emphasised that her perspective should not be seen as a benchmark for others, saying, “Divorce isn’t an option for me. That doesn’t mean it isn’t an option for you. I am not against divorce; I just believe that marriage is a very personal matter. My marriage can never be the same as yours.”
She added that even if she were to walk away, she would remain a part of her husband’s life, making it difficult for anyone else to come between them. Omotola concluded that the bond they share is too strong for external factors to affect their relationship, underscoring the depth and resilience of their partnership.
