Acting Director General of NCAA, Captain Chris Najomo, announced the formation of the committee via a video press release shared on the Authority’s official platform.

Najomo emphasized the urgent need to mitigate the escalating costs, particularly for international flights, and outlined the committee’s primary objective of devising strategies to reduce airfares.

He stated: “The Authority has taken note of the significant rise in airfare prices, particularly in the realm of international travel. In a concerted effort to rectify this situation, I have convened a high-level committee tasked with thoroughly examining the factors contributing to these exorbitant costs and formulating actionable solutions.
