Reports indicate that the governor has adopted a pattern of unannounced inspection visits to project sites, a move aimed at ensuring contractors adhere strictly to approved designs, construction standards and delivery timelines.

During the visit to Charismatic Renewal Road, Governor Okpebholo observed a significant improvement in the quality of work compared to his previous inspection, expressing satisfaction with the level of progress achieved so far.

Reaffirming his commitment to improving the welfare of Edo residents, the governor said the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was already taking shape in the state, adding that his administration is building on the initiative to deliver better living conditions for the people.

He further reiterated his pledge to turn Edo State into a massive construction hub, noting that extensive road and drainage projects are currently ongoing across the three senatorial districts. According to him, the projects are designed to open up communities, enhance connectivity, stimulate economic activities and bring governance closer to the grassroots.
