Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo says Nigeria’s problems will increase if the country breaks apart.

The vice-president spoke on Thursday when members of the Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo support group visited him in Abuja.

Osinbajo said “it is wrong” for Nigeria, which is the largest economy in Africa, to break apart.

“We must never relent in ensuring that we keep to the ideals of the country and we don’t lose sight of what we are trying to achieve here,” he said.

Osinbajo said the president remains focused on putting an end to insecurity, adding that the challenges bedevilling Nigeria will be resolved soon.
