NIPR Inducts Ogun Varsity’s Corporate Affairs Head as Fellow

Niyi Oduwole, Deputy Registrar and Head of Corporate Affairs at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has been inducted as a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The induction ceremony took place during the 2025 Annual General Meeting of NIPR held recently in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with the conferment conducted by Ike Neliaku, President and Chairman of NIPR’s Governing Council.

A statement released on Thursday highlighted Oduwole’s “remarkable performance and unwavering dedication to excellence in public relations practice” as key reasons for his fellowship award.

Oduwole’s significant contributions to educational development and his efforts to foster peaceful coexistence between university and host communities were also recognized.

Also honoured at the event was Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, who was named a patron of the institute.

Speaking on the occasion, NIPR President Ike Neliaku congratulated the newly inducted fellows, commending their dedication, expertise, and impact on the public relations profession.

After the induction, Oduwole dedicated the accolade to his family, mentors, and colleagues, reaffirming his commitment to advancing the field of public relations in Nigeria through innovation and mentorship.
