According to Ireporter Online, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, has praised President Bola Tinubu as a leader who promotes inclusiveness, innovation, and the free flow of intellectual contributions, regardless of who presents them.

Hamzat, who is also the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 governorship candidate, made the remarks on Sunday during a courtesy visit by members of the party’s State Chairmen’s Forum to his residence in Ikoyi.

He stated that President Tinubu creates an enabling environment where ideas are valued above hierarchy or status, noting that the best proposals are given priority regardless of their source.

“Before the President, nobody is too small. Once your idea is better, it takes precedence, even above the President’s own. He gives room for ideas to grow,” Hamzat said.

He further argued that effective leadership depends on vision, adding that many individuals aspiring to govern lack the foresight required to lead effectively. He commended Tinubu for demonstrating long-term strategic thinking that has shaped key developments in Lagos and across Nigeria.

Hamzat highlighted several major infrastructure projects, including the rail transport system, the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Eko Atlantic City, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, and the Badagry-Sokoto Highway, describing them as products of visionary planning.

According to him, these projects go beyond transportation, stressing that they are designed to drive industrialisation and strengthen national connectivity across the country.
