Nobody Can Stop Asiwaju: Tinubu Is More Than A  Movement By Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah

I woke up this morning to the beautiful sounds of “Reggae Strong” by the legendary Lucky Dube, the song inspires me a whole lot. It speaks about reggae evolving more even with the stiff persecution by HATERZ.

“Reggae in the bathroom, Reggae in the bedroom
Reggae everywhere…
Reggae in jail, reggae in church….Everybody likes it

Nobody can stop reggae, Nobody can stop reggae
Nobody can stop reggae…..’Cause reggae is strong.”

The song got me smiling and would keep me smiling for a long while, REGGAE remains strong and evergreen.

As we march towards the 2023 general elections so many attempts have been made to stop Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu from vying for the seat of the presidency.

“They tried to kill it
Many years ago
Killing the prophets of reggae
Destroying the prophets of reggae”

These microscopic few have deployed all means to make sure Tinubu is not only scandalized but also dragged in the mud all in an attempt to STOP the Jagaban.

They attacked his business interest, they twisted the narrative and called him a murderer who sent the army on innocent protesters, they made sure his media outfit was burnt down,  they inflicted physical and psychological trauma on his staff.

“You can change the style, Of playing reggae
You can change the Rhythm of playing reggae
But never ever …Change the message”

They have deployed all means to turn the Jagaban against the people, they say he can’t walk, he is sick and shakes every second, they have concocted all sorts of evil tales about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yet they can’t kill the message.

Tinubu remains the Numero uno of Nigerian Politics. His stewardship as Lagos state governor is still a reference point to good democratic governance anywhere in the world.

In the words of Lucky Dube “Nobody can stop reggae
Nobody can stop reggae
Nobody can stop reggae
‘Cause reggae is strong.”

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is no longer a movement but now a sensation. Tinubu’s name transcends Lagos, Nigeria and the Black Continent.

When they go low, Tinubu goes higher. Tinubu is everywhere because he is a good brand, the golden fish has no hiding place.

Tinubu as Lagos State Governor made use of the best hands available irrespective of gender, tribe or religion. A man of great vision and foresight, nobody can stop Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he is now a phenomenon.

To all my Tinubu adherents brace up for the challenges ahead, nobody can stop the movement for good governance, for transparency, for accountability, for visionary leadership.

Tinubu in the bathroom, Tinubu in the church, Tinubu in the mosque, Tinubu in the park, Tinubu in the school playground, Tinubu everywhere, because everybody likes Tinubu.

Listen to the soothing words of Lucky Dube and know that when the time is ripe no one can stop the movement.

If not now then when? If not Tinubu then who?
