Obaseki Reacts To Disengagement Letters Issued To Ambrose Alli University Workers

AAU

Mr Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo State, declared on Tuesday that all disengagement letters issued to workers at Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma in the last few weeks are illegal, null and void.

A statement signed by Crusoe Osagie, Special Adviser on Media Projects to the Governor said Obaseki maintains that his administration’s commitment to workers’ welfare in the university remains sacrosanct and hasn’t sanctioned this action.

He has ordered an investigation into the matter, and anyone found to be at fault will face swift punishment.

The state government assures university employees that it will continue to promote the state as a desirable place to live and work.
