Okiki Films Unveils Massive 7-Acre Film Village In Ibadan

Chief Sunday Esan, the Chief Executive Officer of Okiki Films and Records International, has officially unveiled a purpose-built film village in Ibadan, Oyo State, in a move aimed at advancing African cultural expression and indigenous storytelling.

According to Ireporter Online, the newly established Okiki Films Village spans approximately seven acres of land located at Idi Ori, Onidundu in Akinyele Local Government Area. The facility is uniquely designed with traditional mud structures and symbolic elements reflective of African heritage, offering filmmakers an authentic environment for the production of culturally rooted content.

The project is envisioned as a cultural hub dedicated to preserving and promoting African traditions through film, while also serving as a creative sanctuary for epic and indigenous productions.
