Ubi Franklin Backs Bola Ahmed Tinubu For 2027 — Sparks Reactions Online
Music executive Ubi Franklin has publicly declared his support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to Ireporter Online, Franklin made his position known in a statement shared via his X platform, stressing that every citizen has the constitutional right to support candidates of their choice, adding that he has chosen to stand behind Tinubu.
The entertainment figure also extended his endorsements to several political figures in Cross River State, including Bassey Otu, Benedict Ayade for the Cross River North Senatorial District, Asuquo Ekpenyong for the Cross River South Senatorial District, and Eteng Jones Williams. He reiterated his stance by affirming that individuals are free to align politically based on their convictions.
In his message, Franklin explicitly declared his backing for Tinubu’s presidential ambition and his preferred candidates in Cross River State, reinforcing his commitment to their political aspirations.
His endorsement comes amid his involvement in the City Boy Movement, a political initiative spearheaded by Seyi Tinubu, which is aimed at mobilising grassroots support and strengthening the campaign structure for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. The movement is focused on promoting the president’s vision and consolidating nationwide backing for his anticipated re-election bid.
