Darkoo & Ruger Link Up For Explosive New Track ‘Solar

British-Nigerian rapper Darkoo, born Oluwafisayo Isa, has unveiled a new single titled “Solar”, featuring Nigerian singer Ruger. According to Ireporter Online, the track highlights Darkoo’s evolving artistry, combining her smooth vocal delivery with Ruger’s distinctive sound in a fusion of Afrobeats and UK music influences.

The song opens with emotive and affectionate lyrics from Darkoo, creatively incorporating elements from Pere by Wande Coal and In Da Club by 50 Cent. Ruger later joins the track, delivering verses that celebrate admiration and romance, adding a relaxed and upbeat vibe to the collaboration.

Darkoo, who rose to prominence with her 2019 hit “Gangsta”, has continued to expand her musical range, transitioning from drill rap into a more melodic style. Her previous achievements include nominations at the MOBO Awards for Best Female Act and Best Newcomer.
