that ballots, result sheets, and other sensitive materials will be delivered to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Akure branch by early next week.Yakubu explained that representatives from political parties and other stakeholders will inspect the materials to ensure transparency before they are distributed to local governments and wards throughout the state.

Emphasizing INEC’s commitment to a well-organized and credible election, Yakubu noted that all logistics for the safe delivery and distribution of materials have been finalized.

“We’ve arranged for the sensitive materials to arrive as early as Tuesday next week,” Yakubu stated, adding, “Political parties and other stakeholders will be invited to inspect the materials at the Central Bank here in Akure, as well as throughout the transportation process to local governments and ward centers.”

Yakubu also highlighted that INEC has coordinated both land and maritime transport to ensure timely access to polling units across Ondo State, supported by security agencies to safeguard the election materials and personnel.

As the election approaches, INEC has been conducting final preparations, including a mock accreditation of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) at select locations. Yakubu reassured the public of INEC’s readiness to deliver a fair, secure, and transparent election.
