Is Ovia In Safe Hands? See How Kids And Elders Embraced Dennis Idahosa On An Inspection Tour(photos)
One Lawmaker who seems to enjoy the serenity of his constituents is Hon Dennis Idahosa the lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers.
The youthful lawmaker has carved a niche for himself by personally inspecting his constituency projects on a weekly basis.
With numerous projects scattered all over Ovia Federal Constituency, the lawmaker makes it a duty to pay unscheduled visits to these project sites in order to encourage and ensure basic standards are met by the contractors.
So on Sunday the 27th of June, Dennis Idahosa paid an unannounced visit as usual to an ongoing project at Okada camp (Olaiya) in Okada West Ward, Ovia North East LGA of Edo State.
You need to see the joy and happiness as kids and elders came out of the corners and neighbourhood to surround and embrace the lawmaker in appreciation. The looks were priceless.
The project inspection was the construction of a block of six classrooms with the Headmaster’s office.
The lawmaker promised the kids the new classroom block would be completed by September and they would have a conducive atmosphere for learning.
Indeed Ovia seems to be in good hands. See photos below…
