Presidency Clears The Air: Surprising Truth About Tinubu’s UK To France TripPresident Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has addressed the growing criticism surrounding the President’s recent travels. After spending nine days in London, Tinubu traveled to France for undisclosed engagements, which sparked mixed reactions from the public.
In a Facebook post, Masari revealed that after Tinubu’s stay in London, the President would proceed to Paris for private engagements. He added that he had visited Tinubu in his private residence in London and would accompany him to France.
The President’s absence from Nigeria during a time of economic difficulties has led to public concerns, with many on social media questioning the timing and necessity of his trips.
Onanuga responded by defending Tinubu’s right to travel freely, emphasizing that the President is on a two-week leave and is not confined to the UK. Onanuga, in a post on his X account, stated, “President Tinubu is on leave for two weeks. He is not restricted to the UK. It is his private time. He can go anywhere he so desires. He is still observing his leave.”
