Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his “heartfelt condolences” regarding the plane crash that resulted in the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner private military group. Despite acknowledging Prigozhin’s mistakes, Putin highlighted his accomplishments as well.

The President expressed his certainty regarding the investigation’s completeness and accuracy during a meeting with Denis Pushilin, the Russian-appointed leader of the Donetsk region.

Given the circumstances surrounding the crash, which claimed the lives of several individuals closely associated with Prigozhin, speculation has arisen about the possibility of an assassination plot.
