PSC Releases Full List As Nearly 700 Senior Officers Hit Abuja For Crucial Promotion Exams

According to Ireporter Online, the Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the dates for the promotion examinations and interactive sessions for senior officers shortlisted for elevation to the ranks of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). The schedule was released through an official wireless communication from the Office of the Force Secretary on November 25, 2025.

The Commission stated that Superintendents of Police aspiring to the rank of CSP will undergo their examination and interview on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The exercise is expected to take place by 8 a.m. at the Parry Osayande Auditorium within the PSC Headquarters in Jabi, Abuja. Officers were instructed to assemble before their respective commanders by 7 a.m. for preliminary briefing before being transported to the venue. A total of 596 SPs are slated to participate, including Bilikisu Shaibu, Ibironke Latifat Aremu, Fatima Yop Ayuba, Fati Alfa, Gimba Audu, Adeyinka Folarin Adeniran, Ibe Ngozi Perpetual, Abdulmalik Abubakar, Bolanle Lizzy Olorundare, Joe Babatunde Oloruleke, Abubakar Abdullahi Ibrahim, Sade Ajibola, Tyonongu Comfort Doosuur, Babangida Mohammed Nuhu, Dauda Yarima Haruna, Chika Sani, Grace Unwubiko, and Dauda Joseph.

Similarly, the Commission fixed Monday, December 1, 2025, for the promotion exam and interaction session for Chief Superintendents seeking elevation to ACP. The session will also hold at the Parry Osayande Auditorium at 8 a.m., with officers expected to first report to their commanders by 7 a.m. The wireless message, referenced CB.4001/FS/FHQ/ABJ/V.T2/12, listed numerous CSPs approved to participate, including Muktari Bello, Ismaila Mobolaji Jimoh, Olusegun Ojo, Mohammed Aminu, Olugbenga Alarape Bolaji, Davidson Okechukwu Ndubueze, Emmanuel O. Agbo, Hamisu Nasiru Isa, Joy I. Akran, Tope Adewumi Oparinde, Innocent Ekro, Obed Masoyi Ali, Shehu Mohammed Aliyu, Bukar Saleh Mohammed, Chuks Hyginus Nwoke, Silas Egbeh Onele, Kememalafakumo Osuluku, and Yusuf Umar.

The PSC advised all candidates to revise their professional knowledge, departmental protocols, local laws, and relevant statutes in preparation for the examinations. The approved dress code includes the standard black jacket, beret, and swagger cane, while officers from tactical units are to appear in black shirts over green denim with berets.

The Commission also directed the AIG MOPOL to assign 12 armed personnel for escort duties on both examination days. The Transport and Logistics Department was instructed to provide one serviceable vehicle for senior officers and ensure two Hilux vans are stationed at the Force Headquarters by 6 a.m. for operational support.
