Radiogad Commends Burna Boy’s Discreet Acts Of Philanthropy

According to Ireporter Online, social media commentator and radio personality, Radiogad, has highlighted the humanitarian side of Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, alleging that many of the singer’s charitable interventions are carried out quietly and often go unrecognized publicly.

Radiogad, in a recent post on social media, described Burna Boy as an artiste who supports individuals and communities from a place of genuine concern, noting that several of his philanthropic efforts are not widely publicized.

He claimed that the singer has been involved in multiple charity-driven initiatives, including youth empowerment programmes through a football academy, as well as community-focused projects aimed at supporting development at the grassroots level.

“Burna Boy has a good heart. He is one artist that helps people from the bottom of his heart. He has done a lot of charity work that went unnoticed,” Radiogad was quoted as saying.

The media personality further alleged that the singer has contributed to projects such as school renovations and road rehabilitation, adding that such efforts rarely receive mainstream media attention.

He also referenced Burna Boy’s football academy, stating that it is designed to support and mentor young talents beyond just sports development.

Radiogad added that Burna Boy’s philanthropic approach is largely private, insisting that the artiste does not always seek public acknowledgment for his interventions.

“I just want to take this time to appreciate him because he doesn’t get the flowers he deserves,” he added.

He further recalled an instance where Burna Boy reportedly extended support to the family of nightlife personality, Cubana Chief Priest.

While commending the singer’s humanitarian gestures, Radiogad acknowledged that Burna Boy has also faced public criticism and controversies but maintained that his charitable contributions deserve recognition alongside his music career.
