SDP Guber Candidate, Ajaka Condemns Herdsmen Attack In Kogi, Calls For Urgent Intervention

In a press release issued in Lokoja over the weekend, Ajaka expressed deep concerns about the tragic incident which occurred on Thursday, resulting in the loss of 25 lives and leaving many others injured. The attack also caused significant damage to agricultural produce in the area.

Ajaka emphasized the sanctity of every citizen’s life and called on the state government to fulfill its primary responsibility of protecting the masses against internal and external aggression. He urged swift intervention to prevent further attacks and restore peace in the region.

Highlighting the urgency of the situation, Ajaka appealed to the authorities to mobilize resources necessary for resolving the present conflict and preventing future occurrences of violence. He emphasized that ensuring the safety of lives and property should be the top priority of governance.

Furthermore, the SDP chieftain called on the federal government to intervene decisively in the matter to safeguard the lives of citizens in Kogi State. He expressed confidence that the President would not allow the country to be overrun by insecurity and emphasized that Kogi should not be allowed to descend into chaos.
